2016 US Tour Rescheduled

Postby defleppardfan » Thu Mar 03, 2016 3:09 am

I was wondering what kind of illness interrupted Def Leppard's US tour in February 2016 that it actually got postponed. It turns out nothing serious but doctors recommended Joe to rest his mouth for a month at least because singing without rest might result into a permanent damage - http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/ ... s-20160201

Anyway, hope things will get fine, especially after Def Leppard added a lot of tour dates in 2016 - http://defleppardtours.com/

P.S. See you in Greensboro in May!

Sounds like a great plan. Joe's voice needs a rest? Great, let's book a five months tour and call it "ruin Joe's voice completely" tour.

From what Vivian said in in an interview they might take next year off from touring (to work on new album supposedly lol, that would be nice but I have my doubts about that   ) It would probably be better to take off this year because of everything, but they still have to promote the new cd I guess. Bad timing? maybe they should have took off last year and waited til after the album actually came out , but of course what happened with his voice may have still happened, maybe not without the previous year of touring :?: :|

I agree but for me, health is more important than business. I would not take ANY risk of permanent damage and, at the end of the day, that would be even worse for the business.
